Shopify retires Stocky on August 31, 2026 — and its purchase-order history can't be imported into Shopify itself. Proviand can take it with you.
What moves over
Purchase orders — from Stocky's CSV exports, with numbers, line items, quantities, costs and received status preserved as history.
Suppliers — created automatically from the supplier names in your PO data (Stocky has no supplier export, so this is the reliable route).
Sales history — doesn't need migrating at all: Proviand reads it straight from your Shopify orders the moment you install.
How to migrate
In Stocky, open a purchase order and download it as CSV (or use Send with "Attach CSV"). Repeat for the POs you want to keep — recent ones are usually enough.
Install Proviand and open Settings → Import Stocky data.
Drag the CSV files in. Proviand recognizes the columns automatically, groups rows into POs, and creates the suppliers it finds.
Safe by design: imported purchase orders are recorded
as history only — they never modify your live Shopify inventory.
Products that no longer exist in your store are kept on the PO by SKU
so the record stays complete.
What you'll gain in the move
Forecasts that explain themselves — every recommendation shows its inputs.
A single buying table instead of a report maze.
Purchase orders that count as incoming stock, so you never double-order.
A morning digest so you don't have to open the app to know you're covered.
